Doe was gut shot and only left blood where she was hit and right at the end
of the track. My son Matt put Rosco on the arrow and gave him the command to
track, it didn't take him long to get on the trail. The only problem is we
didn't know for sure he was on it, we couldn't find any blood to confirm
it. After about 100 yards Rosco made a 120-degree turn and was headed back
to a stand of oaks and brush. Just after entering the oaks my son picked up
a leaf and stated, "he's on her, she came through here"! About that time
the doe kicked and tried to get up just 10 yards in front of him in the
brush.
